In this pursuit we have developed and implemented our Kanary platform, a simple, intuitive, and open hygiene monitoring system for health care and facility Management. Kanary leverages IoT technology to provide monitoring and analytics for hygiene-related processes and events. Kanary integrates seamlessly with range of hygiene products as well as other IoT-enabled devices, to create a comprehensive hygiene system. The Software, Firmware, and Electronics QA Engineer will play a critical role in our product development lifecycle. This role will be vital for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of our software, firmware, and electronic systems, including our Kanary software platform and IoT devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure that all products meet our rigorous quality standards before they reach the customer. Job Role & Responsibilities · Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for software, firmware, and electronic components including the Kanary software platform and IoT devices.· Collaborate with the development team to understand product designs and specifications.· Perform manual and automated testing to identify, document, and resolve defects.· Work with hardware and software tools to simulate and test product environments.· Analyze test data and report findings to the development team and management.· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.· Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the field, including software, firmware, and testing tools.· Assist in the development of quality assurance policies and procedures.· Collaborate effectively with software developers, firmware engineers, electronic hardware designers, and management to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and drive quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle. Qualifications/ Skills: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.· 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, specifically with software and firmware testing.· Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.· Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages.· Knowledge of electronics and experience with hardware testing is highly desirable.· Preferred Skills: · Certifications in Quality Assurance or related fields.· Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.· Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, or Python. · An effective communicator who is well versed in technical concepts.· A detail-oriented and disciplined individual with strong problem-solving skills.· An individual with excellent English written oral, and interpersonal communication skills. · Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
