THE JOB
Supervises and manages activities of workers engaged in inspecting incoming raw materials (Raw Material QA Inspector) and releasing of finished goods (Finished Goods QA Inspector) in adherence to company quality standards and specification in the assigned location and additional toll milling sites, as needed. DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the quality & food safety system is developed, implemented, maintained, updated and improved in the facility Accomplish the objectives of QFS human resources by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling and encouraging team members Communicate, follow-up job expectations and ensure the policies and procedures implemented Lead to communicate and solve significant QFS events & regulatory issues within the facility Maintain and improve product safety and quality through regular interaction with operations and investigate product complaints and non-conformities within the operation and self-inspections in order to reduce the cost of poor quality Responsible in submitting reports to Country Quality and Food Safety Manager, Purchasing Team, Supply Chain Team and Plant Manager of any nonconforming Raw Materials including additives, polybags, feed tags and Finished Goods Coordinates with Purchasing and Warehouse Team on any incoming deliveries of Raw Materials Coordinates with Country Quality and Food Safety Manager and Formulation Manager in case changes has been made in the specifications both Raw Materials and Finished Goods Coordinates and reports results of any trial to the Country Quality and Food Safety Manager, Technical Director, and Plant Manager Reports evaluation of any expired products and/or any damaged products inside the plant to Formulation Manager and Plant Manager Regular GMP inspection in the Plant Mills and Plant warehouses Coordinates with Plant Production Planner on plant milling and trial schedules Coordinates with Plant Mill Supervisors quality related concerns of products produce in each mill A good communication resource between QFS, Operation and Commercial colleagues Follow the company rule in term of health, safety, and environment. Give awareness on safety to all the people within the team and give suggestions for the improvement of the system Ensure all needed equipment, tools and materials in QFS Department are available Ensure the qualification and competency of team members Support Quality & Food safety teams in the country Perform other tasks as assigned by Country Quality and Food Safety Manager Qualifications Graduate in Food or Food animal technology / microbiology / nutrition or related majors Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English Above average competence in Microsoft office applications At least 5 years experiences in quality & food safety, preferably experience in husbandry or food industry Knowledge of legal requirements for raw materials and animal food Good knowledge in quality & food safety standards: HACCP, ISO 9001:2015 & audits (internal & external) Good leadership Has good time management skills Problem solving and situational analysis Willing to work in morning shift, overtime and weekend if necessary Your Future Perspective Challenging tasks, short decision-making processes and a high level of personal responsibility Room for innovative thinking and growth with the possibility to manage your own career path A company culture which promotes continuous learning and diversity Excellent career opportunities in a world leading nutrition company An attractive remuneration including a variety of social benefits like subsidized health & fitness offers We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and value diversity at our company.
