Description

The Project to Cash Service Delivery Manager is the process owner of the end to end service delivery operations for project accounting and credit and accounts receivable in achieving overall process quality, service excellence and cost efficiencies.The P2C Service Delivery Manager provides leadership and direction to the team and works closely with the global and regional finance leaders to define and implement necessary process changes to achieve the Global Finance vision.
As a member of the Arcadis Global Shared Services Leadership team, the P2C SDL is responsible for both strategic and tactical operational strategies in building organizational capabilities ensuring quality and operational efficiencies within the workstream in particular, while collaborating with the other Leadership team members in building a more cohesive, best in class and service excellence driven center.Responsibilities:
Overall responsible for the entire P2C process and workstream functions, including corresponding internal controlsEstablish and communicate a clear vision for the P2C processes across the organization.
Collaborate with the different regions in Finance in executing a global strategy for the P2C transformation, including associated policies and technology changes, as necessary.
Design and implement priority projects and process improvement initiatives to harmonize and standardize processes across all regions, and achieve the goals of operational and cost efficiency
Achieve optimal productivity of the teams ensuring resources are utilized leveraging on available technology and IT tools.
Implement a robust performance management process, working closely with the different customers and / or business leaders of the functions and business unit in setting the target service level agreements. Establish and consistently monitor relevant and robust performance metrics and relevant key performance metrics that create a performance driven and customer focused culture across all teamsEnsure smooth operations for the workstream, adhering to established or to be established service level agreements in terms of efficiency, timeliness and quality.
Review and analyze current policies and procedures in order to recommend and implement changes or create them to standardize and optimize activities integrated into shared services;Employing root cause analysis and other problem-solving methodologies for errors and challenges faced to ensure both corrective and preventive actions are implemented
Responsible for the overall performance of the team, monitoring their performance, providing timely feedback & assisting them to improve on their identified training needs
Translate strategic objectives into SMART clear operational objectives for the team, providing coaching, career development and feedback to team members and providing performance evaluation
Lead the maintenance of a strong Controls environment within the P2C environment.Stay abreast of process trends and leading practices in the industry to inform strategic direction and process enhancementQualifications

Qualifications, skills & experience:
The candidate should have the experience managing a diverse and regional or global scope of P2C operations, in a captive shared services or business process outsourcing operations environment. The candidate should be able to demonstrate effective organizational facilitation, effective people management skills and the competencies outlined below.
Subject matter expert in the Project to Cash process
High level of problem-solving capabilities, interpersonal skills, with excellent customer orientation mindset
Possess good communication and presentation skills
Ability to develop, mentor and inspire direct reports and influence those without direct management responsibility
Competency in change management and understanding human resource issues.
Ability to multitask and handle different initiatives and tasks, prioritizing based on relevance and importance.
Proven strategic planning experience at management level;
Strong cultural awareness and adept at working cross-functionally and across Areas and country leadership with a broad range of stakeholders.
Results-oriented, Strong achievement orientation and innovative mindset.
Ability to influence and gain acceptance from others, driving for consensus and change.
Can work on flexible hours to meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlines.
Specific Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a major in finance, business or accounting
At least 15+ years of total experience, including more than 10 years of experience in Finance and accounting within a large, multifaceted organizationExtensive end to end knowledge and experience of the P2C process in a global capacity
Strong customer service mind-set with good motivation and negotiation skillsTrack record of having effectively managed large projects within procurement, accounts payable or finance scope
Experience in setting the standards for performance for the teams, developing and implementing relevant key performance indicators
Strong business process skills with the ability to harmonize, standardize and optimize P2C process thru different process improvement initiatives.
Business and strategic problem analytical skills setting the vision for the P2C organization.
Proficient in an ERP platform, and in using Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in managing a group of at least 50 people and has managed leaders / managers.Job:Enabling functions
