JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• At least (3) three years experience in construction management.
• With comprehensive knowledge of the design process and the means & methods of construction.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, and Auto-CAD programs
• Technical and functional knowledge of site and building systems including; site utility distribution, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water filtration, fire
protection, etc.
• Excellent communication skills – oral & written. Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective plans and strategies.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple project processes simultaneously.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the execution process for construction and facilities maintenance projects.
Manage, facilitate and streamline projects from approved conceptual designs through final scope definition, completion of bid and construction documents, bidding, construction, start-up and commissioning.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with designers (architecture and engineering professionals) the execution of the project intent;
• Review schematic plans, design development drawings and construction drawings to be true to the intent of the project.
• Project development including coordination with consultants to development documents for bidding, permitting and construction.
• Monitor contractors’ activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, design intent, and expectations of end users.
• Track cost and coordinate problems and changes through all phase of the project until completion.
