Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for handling our company's ongoing property projects. You will be working closely with our CEO, to ensure that all project requirements, tasks, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include; submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and researching various aspects of the project.
In addition, you will be responsible for finding and securing new projects. Training will be provided, however, initiative and creativity are a requirement to be successful in this role. To be a successful candidate you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.
A certification in Project Management or Business Management or equivalent is a huge advantage. Our preference is a degree in Engineering or Architecture. Past real estate experience in an Australian company is also a big advantage.
Much of your role will require the use of task management software such as Asana and experience using such software is critical. Assisting our CEO, with general administration tasks will also be a part of your new role. Project Manager Responsibilities:
Coordinating with the cross-discipline team members to ensure that all parties are on track with the project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Regularly attends a 15-minute debrief call with the CEO each morning to work through current tasks and progress/issues.
Conducts a meeting with the project team members to identify and resolve issues.
Submitting the project deliverables on time and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards being set.
Preparing the status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
Using current templates and training secure a project a month through investigation, negotiation, and discussion with external real estate agents/realtors.
Facilitating change requests and ensuring that all parties are informed of the impacts on the schedule and budget.
Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
This is done by Snagit video and then placed into Google sites. This needs to be coordinated with our Operations Manager.
Assist in identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
Conducting a post-project evaluation while also identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements on a project.
Job Qualifications
Project Manager Requirements:
? A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Engineering/Architecture or related field.
? Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
? Proven experience in project management and as a construction project manager.
? Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
? Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
? Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
? Experience overseeing a construction project advantageous.
? Budget management experience.
? Ability to data mine and research/analyse
? Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Asana advantageous.
? Ideally have construction and fit out (renovation) experience
