Project Developmen Manager

Job Description: Provides/sets goals, plans steps and communicates these to the team
Executes design strategy and criteria and provides timely communication of design direction and changes to concerned teams, consultants and suppliers
Identifies deviations and proposes design solutions to be executed together with the Construction Management Team
Identifies and communicates goals, key tasks and responsibilities to ensure effective coordination and collaboration within cross-functional teams
Ensures work is resourced with the right expertise and functional / supplier involvement
Understands and applies best practices in the retail construction industry to up-level processes, approaches, tools, and standards
Qualification: Retail, hospitality or restaurant design or development including management of construction documents
Managing outside architectural and other design consultants
Current knowledge of industry trends in retail store and restaurant design
Current working knowledge of building and health codes and compliance issues
Demonstrated 3D visualization ability and working knowledge of color and design principles
Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments
Skilled in the visual, written and verbal communication of design issues
Knowledge of architectural details and specifications for construction document production
