JOB DESCRIPTION:· Work with senior-level stakeholders to lead and execute strategic sourcing projects, including strategy development, RFQ RFP execution, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution.• Support the Global Category Leads with the identification of stakeholders and definition of the strategy• Benchmark category practices with regional developments to identify initiatives for improvement• Assess the impact of regionally changing requirements, including legislation and policies· Ensure successful implementation of global strategy / agreements:• Coordinate resource allocation to support global initiatives• Lead and support global category strategy development and implementation• Support negotiations and sourcing activities in line with global category strategy• Promote the use of contracts and buying channels according to category strategies· Manage supplier and customer relationships on a regional level:• Manage global supplier relationships in line with Global Category and 360 Value Mgmt. strategy• Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders• Manage internal customer feedback on category organization & supplier performance• Proactively organize sessions with internal customers to identify value contribution opportunities• Ensure that input from stakeholders is considered in the category strategy and sourcing processes• Act as an escalation point for category-related issues and drive resolution in line with global targets· Perform category management activities for projects on a regional level:• Manage the category strategy implementation/execution for global projects and initiatives• Drive supplier performance by, for example, discussing lessons learned across different markets• Perform supplier selection and fact-based negotiations in alignment with Global Category Leads• Involve the business in actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation• Drive deep travel & mobility market intelligence into all aspects of the value proposition Qualifications:JOB QUALIFICATIONSWith at least 7 years of relevant work experience in procurementAt least 5 years supervisory experienceWith good communication skillsWith stakeholder management experience and basic knowledge of project management is preferredA master s degree with an emphasis on the areas of business, economics, procurement, travel or comparable professional education Alternatively a bachelor 's degreeExpert in Business Travel category management, sourcing as well as project management and planningExcellent knowledge of procurement and category strategy development and conveyanceProven knowledge of sourcing and procurement methodologies and concepts, business travel mobility industry, and commercial modelsVery strong in stakeholder and relationship management as well as supplier managementStrong analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skillsStrong knowledge of procurement tools, content and data analysisProject and process management knowledge and experienceForward, out of the box thinking and an innovative, disruptive and open mindset ?Action oriented and solution minded team player with a high degree of self management
