Principal Consultant - PBCS-19001I7G Preferred QualificationsJob Summary: The PS Consultant - PBCS position is responsible for the delivery of implementation services for Oracle NetSuite PBCS customers in a post-sales environment. Working with the rest of the Professional Services department, this position will apply leading practices to meet the customer’s business needs. The position also requires developing innovative solutions for system optimization and/or to address unique requirements to the customer's satisfaction. A Consultant must have a passion for helping customers find creative ways to more effectively run their businesses. Finding new ways to constantly improve the satisfaction and loyalty of our customers is a top priority. Working with aggressive timelines and a full customer portfolio is required. This position is not expected to travel.

ResponsibilitiesProvide implementation services to new and existing customers
Orient and guide Customers to PBCS leading practices as applied to their business need
Document and analyze any unique business requirements outside of the leading practices
Provide solutions and their validation as part of the client engagement
Configure/customize the PBCS application based on accepted business requirements
Conduct personalization/walkthrough sessions (on-the-phone and in-person) and document with meeting minute summaries
Perform offline tasks that are included in the project implementation
Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverablesContribute to internal PS initiatives
Actively participate in initiatives to improve Leading Practices (e.g. solutioning, methodology, business processes, service offerings)
Participate in SME program / Pods in area(s) of interest and expertiseFocus on Continuing Education
Consistently updates skills/knowledge to enhance the current role via Formal Trainings or personal learning sessions
Contribute to internal PBCS knowledge share/Office Hours

Skills Extensive Functional experience in any of the following: Oracle PBCS, Hyperion or Cognos
Some consulting experience implementing any core business systems (Core Financials, Financial Reporting/Consolidation, Financial Budgeting and Planning)
User experience with SaaS type systems focused on Accounting/ERP (e.g. Netsuite, Oracle Financials Cloud, SAP 4/HANA, Quickbooks, Sage, etc.)
Ability to effectively implement an ERP, SFA/CRM or Ecommerce Solution
Understanding of common industry leading business practices, such as ERP, SFA/CRM, or Ecommerce
Understanding of different industries and how PBCS integrates to the customer’s business needs
Mastery of Microsoft Office ProductsEducation Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.Professional
Experience 2+ years’ experience with Corporate Budgeting and Financial Planning tools such as Oracle PBCS, Hyperion, Cognos
5+ years’ experience in systems applications consulting, either internally via an IT organization, or externally with a consulting firm or software provider
Solid experience in Business Process Mapping and Scope ManagementPromotion Criteria Demonstrated ability to perform both functional and technical aspect of Oracle PBCS with emphasis on leading engagements from start to finish.
Regularly exceeds personal utilization targets on a quarterly basis
Exceeds Customer Reference Targets and Customer Satisfaction Survey Score Targets

Ability to travel as needed.
