ROLE DESCRIPTION The primary purpose of the pricing management team (PMT) Pricing Team Lead is:
Responsible for APAC Pricing Management & Vendor Reporting
Manage the vendor's formal special bid agreements (SBAs)
Responsible for the monitoring, analysis and approval of margins on product orders and the collation of rebates and submission of reports to Vendors for APAC countries
Month end Commitment expected to work long hours to ensure all orders are processed
Manage claim dispute with Vendors to ensure 100% rebates are received
Manage, coach and develop a proactive team
Manage shared services team based in Manila
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pricing Management:
Review the vendor agreements (SBAs) to be accurately recorded in SAP and applied correctly to sales orders by the Pricing team.
Review Order margin/ profitability for regular reporting, Approval/Rejection of margin blocks after review.
Timely reporting on margin issues for management review, highlight issues on timely basis and identify their root causes.
Work closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Order Support, Sales and Finance) to resolve any issues that might arise during processing of orders.
Ensure team records all the margin approvals in internal text when order margin does not meet set thresholds.
Improve & standardise processes across APAC.
Vendor Reporting (POS):
Ensure Rebates team prepare and submit accurate and updated reports for APAC countries
POS (Point of Sale)
Inventory Reporting
Price Protection Claim report
Claim submission reporting
Dispute management:
Vendor claiming and Claims Rejections Management - resolve all outstanding claims by escalating internally and with vendors (if required), ensuring all rebates are claimed
Ensure all claims are claimed correctly, approved and paid by the vendor, including regular outstanding rebate reviews and process updates as required
Ensure vendor claims aging is current, all vendor rejections are addressed timely
Report monthly, and as required to management on all outstanding rebates
Interaction with Internal & External Teams
Manage the shared services team members and ensuring that the relevant tasks are accomplished on timely including resolving issues.
Participate and contribute to other finance/operations team initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Westcon's vendors and internally
Work closely with APAC finance team
Work as Backup and support to peers
Identify training, coaching opportunities and needs for all team members

The ability to juggle a variety of tasks as well as working on ad hoc projects that arise at the same time.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ACCA/CPA
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Managed a team
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Able to meet tight reporting deadlines
ERP knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a cross functional company, with interaction with other business streams.
Good understanding of vendor and/or distributor operations
Understanding of related finance processes
Accounting background is beneficial
Willingness to learn
Willing to proactively engage internal and external stakeholders
Good team player
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office applications
