POSITION: CHIEF TESD SPECIALIST (RE-OPEN)
FORMER INCUMBENT: NEWLY CREATED POSITION

OFFICE: SCHOLARSHIP MANAGEMENT DIVISION(SMD), ODDG-TESDO, TESDA-CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-24 Php83,406.00PERA: P2,000.00RATA: P10,000.00
THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
• 20% Directs, supervises and coordinates the operations and activities of the division;
• 20% Reviews and finalizes scholarship resource planning and policy recommendations on scholarship programs for approval of higher authorities;
• 15% Reviews and finalizes the development and monitoring of special scholarship programs/projects for special clients;
• 10% Develops and proposes communication plans and strategies in promoting TVET through the scholarship programs for approval of higher authorities;
• 10% Reviews and finalizes the monitoring and evaluation plans of scholarship programs;
• 10% Provides technical services and staff advices on scholarship programs/projects;
• 10% Ensures active multi-sectoral participation of all concerned public and private agencies on scholarship programs; and,
• 5% Performs other related functions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:
Education: Master’s degree
Experience: 4 years of supervisory/management experience
Training: 40 hours of training in management and supervision
Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility

• Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet with Work Experience Sheet (CSC Form 212, Revised 2017);
• Service Records;
• List of supervisory/managerial and other training programs attended indicating the no. of training hours together with the certified photocopies of training certificates;
• Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2018, January to June 2018 and July to December 2018 for outside applicants or Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for July to December 2018 and January to June 2019 for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies of at least Very Satisfactory Rating;
• For government employee only: a copy of previous appointment;
• Management Competence Forms to be accomplished by your Immediate Supervisor; two (2) Peers and two (2) Subordinates;
• Demonstrated Attitude and Commitment to Work to be accomplished by your Immediate Supervisor;
• Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
• Certification signed by immediate or previous supervisors indicating managerial/supervisory cumulative experience (specify day-month-year covered) with actual duties and responsibilities listed down together with the office order of designation;
• List of at least five (5) references for each category with contact details:
• Superior/Supervisor
• Peer
• Subordinate
• Client/Stakeholder;
• Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma; and
• Certified true copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC, CES or CSEE (if any).
