We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist . The Payroll Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. With a strong attention to detail and knowledge of payroll regulations, this individual will manage all aspects of payroll administration while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and verify employee timesheets, attendance records, and changes to compensation (e.g., new hires, salary adjustments, terminations) Recognize and resolve discrepancies in payroll transactions. Review employee timesheets and attendance records submitted by the HR Timekeeper Communication with employees for timely resolution of all queries directed to HR and Finance via the ticket tool system Serve as the main point of contact for any inquiries related to payroll, working closely with the Finance team Manage payroll adjustments, retro pay calculations, and off-cycle payroll runs as needed. Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll tax laws, regulations, and best practices Update and maintain accurate payroll records within the payroll system, ensuring data integrity and security. Create reports as necessary for the team Other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred). At least 2 years of experience in PH payroll and benefits processing Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax laws, and regulations. High ethical standards and ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office & Google Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
