Payroll Practitioner

This entry level position has the responsibility for processes related to the calculation of employee paychecks, all components that go into that paycheck and the withholding of taxes. This role is part of a team that will

Responsibilities:Developing, Designing and implementing new payroll processes related to:
Employee payments
Deductions
Taxes
Reporting
Includes setup of new tax jurisdictions
Responsible for local tax withholding requirements and state unemployment contributions
Setup new tax agencies to accept employee withholding
Member of a team executing numerous operational processes
Handle employee questions and escalations as needed
Other duties will be assigned as needed and as the associate becomes more efficient at their role
