Leads, coordinates and monitors the effective execution established production processes, methods and procedures.
Generates procedures, work instructions, one-point lessons and checksheets for process standardization.
Provides engineering support within the production process including the development of process and equipment specifications, process trouble shooting and operator training.
Provides necessary quality control related to work procedures.
Leads new model set-up and development on production line.6 Monitors the production yield output and establishes countermeasures to further increase the yield.
Supports in meeting the requirements for ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001standards.
Initiates and executes corrective and preventive action or countermeasure for problem regarding equipment and process.
Coordinates and works closely with Production and QA/QC Departments in all aspects of process improvement and process related issues.
Promotes a good working relationship with customers on audit and action items.
Provides technical related reports such as FMEA and FA Evaluation Report, Qualification Report, 8 Discipline (8D) Report, Closed Loop Corrective Action (CLCA) Report as part of the customer requirement, MRB and/or self-initiative for process requirement.
Supports QA/QC Department in improving suppliers quality.
Planning and execution of Engineering Evaluations request from BTJ and customer.
Cooperates in the implementation of the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management System.
Reports to his superior or recommends possible actions to reduce or eliminate hazards found in the workplace.
Job Qualification
Graduate of 5 year Engineering course
At least 3 years work experience as NPI Engineer/Supervisor in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing company.
Knowledge, Attitude and Skills:
Knowledge in process improvement to increase improve quality and productivity.
Ability to use techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods like 8D with SPC Application, FMEA and FA Evaluation Report.
Knowledge in AUTOCAD software application Knowledge on Engineering and Technology, mechanical, computer and electronics.
Complex problem solving Critical thinking; judgement and decision making.
Ability to communicate effectively with persons inside and outside the organization.
