Medical Technologist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares samples of specimen for examination-hematological, serological, clinical microscopy, blood chemistry and special chemistry procedure. Performs and analyze the results of tests on blood and body fluids. Performs machine calibration prior to running of lab test. Interpret results of lab examination accurately. Do counter checking of all lab result performed and released by co-med tech staff. Manage inventory of lab stocks and supplies and request for replenishment. Maintain an updated documents of lab procedures and other documents as required. Implements infection control measures in the Laboratory Department. Coordinates with Pathologist for abnormal lab results. Secure right encoding/recording of lab results. Maintains updated documents of lab procedures and other documents as required. Gathers customer feedback and report result. Keeps all equipments clean, calibrated and in good operating condition. Performs other tasks and duties as may be assigned by the management. *

Reports to Laboratory Manager and Quality Assurance Officer/Chief Medical Technologist
Coordinates with Other Medical Technologists, Analysts, Technical Staff and Support

QUALIFICATION(S):
Education:
A BS in Medical Technologist Graduate in four (4) years course Licensed to practice in the Philippines With Leadership potentials and must be willing to handle responsibilities *
