Marketing Officer (Supervisor)

About the Role:The role is accountable responsible for the Marketing and Commercial performance of DPWPLI global freight, 2PL and 3PL businesses in Batangas. He/She will assist the Assistant Manager for Commercial 2PL and Assistant Manager for Commercial 3PL in conducting market study, implement sales strategies, secure BCO contract for end-to-end services and distribution.The person must find and develop qualified leads, convert through sales process into prospects and customers to reach corporate objectives. He/She will be the main contact person for prospects and sales accounts owner for developed and/or assigned customers.Key Accountabilities:• The person is responsible to conduct market analysis essential for an intelligent and pro-active approach to secure market growth.• Collaborates with Operations and Procurement Team in securing best rates, prepare P&L, issue proposal and secure business from BCO.• Responsible for liaising with various trade associations for events planning which can widen and generate customer base.Safety Accountabilities• Commit to compliance with applicable HSSE requirement in the responsible fields/ department.• Allocate adequate resources to eliminate/ reduce identified HSSE risks to as low as reasonably practicable and supervise the HSSE enforcement to get the desired result.• Influence critical HSSE behaviour expectations by demonstrating role-model in the responsible field/ department.• Deliver HSSE KPIs cascaded to the responsible field/ department.Qualifications:• Graduate of any four-year Business course• With experience in the field of Commercial, Sales or Marketing from a freight forwarding services (Ocean and Air import, export and domestic), customs brokerage, CFS/warehousing, distribution, and related value-added information services.• Customer focused, with strong attention to detail• With excellent communication skills• Proficient in MS Office• Must have a valid Driver's License
