Marketing Assistant

**Job Summary**:Marketing Assistant are responsible for working with the client from after their down payment for the space up to the completion of their event. Good customer service is of the utmost importance along with organizational skills to ensure events are pulled off with maximum client satisfaction. Marketing Assistant pave the way for repeat and lasting customers ensuring the long-term profitability of the convention hall.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Sets meetings with clients to coordinate their requirements for booked events- Coordinates with third-party suppliers on event details- Makes sure permits for client ingress are secured and all manpower / equipment needed are requested- Checks on cleanliness and orderliness of the hall and restrooms at all times during the event- Discusses with client on their feedback regarding the hall and how event was handled- Monitors event egress to make sure venue is cleared efficiently and without any damages- Reports any comments during post-event evaluation meeting with the department to study problems and come up with possible solutions- Fosters good relationship with clients to encourage repeat customers / bookings for the convention hall- Coordinates with the Marketing Head of any problems that may arise pertaining to the event to quickly resolve it- Helps in planning out flyers, CDs, brochures, etc. to promote the convention hall- Assists Marketing Head by checking on current competitors and studying their rates, facilities and promotions- Suggests organizations to partner with for certain events to draw potential clients to J Centre (ex. Fairs, sales, concerts, etc.)- Organize events as filler for J Centre Convention Hall when there are no events in the halls.- Help market the filler events and help in promoting and getting exhibitors.- Adheres to convention hall standard operating procedures and company rules, policies and procedures- Check Convention Hall regularly for maintenance and areas that needs repairs and replacements and update Marketing Head on any problems on the halls on a regular basis- Assists in any other tasks the Head may assignQualifications:- Must be a college graduate of any course- With at least 1-2 years experience as sales marketing in convention hall- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Excellent negotiating skills- Highly self-motivated individual**Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:- 8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:- 13th month salary- Overtime pay
