Linux System Administrator

Provide assistance in troubleshooting and maintaining the Systems and Network Infrastructure on internal and external clients.Pro-actively provide recommendations on design, implementation, monitoring and upgrade of Systems and Network Infrastructure for internal and external clients.Coordinate with other teams for changes in configuration, implementations and designs.Ensure working backup of all systems and network configurations.Escalate concerns to service providers as needed.Pro-actively monitor’s the company’s network and systems resources and analyze events/alerts to solve operational challenges.Implement patch management and maintenance of systems and network resources.Monitors project deliverables as assigned by the Sr. Systems and Network Admin or IT Infrastructure HeadProvide and update documentation on internal knowledgebase and systems and network implementations.Experience/ Educational Requirements:Must be a graduate of Computer Engineering or any 4-year-IT-related courseAt least 3 years working experienceTechnical Skills Required:Experience in handling Firewall, Routers and SwitchesKnowledgeable on theoretical concepts of networking that includes the following protocols, VLAN, RSTP, MSTP, DHCP Snooping, Arp Protect, NAT, VPN, Policy Based Routing etc.Knowledgeable in maintaining Linux Environment that includes Ubuntu, Centos and RHELKnowledgeable in different server roles that includes DNS, DHCP. Web Server and LDAPKnowledge on Asterisk Systems and VOIP is a plus.Knowledge on maintaining and managing of Virtualization Technologies (Xenserver, Vmware, Proxmox and KVM) is a plus.
