Line Cook/Prep Cook

Line Cooks are in charge of prepping food and plating dishes according to a restaurant's menu specifications. Also known as a Prep Cook, they are assigned a specific place in the line, such as the grill or vegetable prep station. Duties include preparing food and maintaining sanitation standards.- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations- Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.- Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.- Reporting to the Head Cook and following instructions.- Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers.- Stocking inventory and supplies.- Cooking menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.- In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.- Aptitude for multi-tasking.- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresh graduate**Salary**: From Php15,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Additional leave- Company events- Flextime- Health insurance- Life insurance- Paid toll fees- Paid training- Pay raise- Promotion to permanent employeeSchedule:- 10 hour shift- Holidays- WeekendsSupplemental pay types:- 13th month salary- Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- San Juan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Senior High School (required)**Experience**:- Cook: 2 years (required)**Language**:- English (preferred)
