Junior Product Designer

Job Description:
As the Junior Product Designer you will be a key member of the product team contributing to the creation and development of new features and builds for the FlySpaces platform and mobile apps. Under the guidance of the VP Marketing and Product you will be given the opportunity to create unique UX and UI elements. In this role you should be creative minded with a sharp eye for details. If you’ve ever had a poor experience with a website or an app and declared “I would improve x,y, and z!” then this job could be for you.


You will be working alongside an internal development team, a graphic designer, project manager, and a head of product.


Your main areas of responsibility will include:


Understanding Product:


Testing all aspects of the website and apps Debugging and problem solving client technical issues Researching similar platforms and other UX across other sites Knowing the ins and outs of all aspects of FlySpaces products Communicating UX requirements to other members of the development team Designing Wireframes & Prototypes:


Draft designs for new product elements and experiences using tools such as Sketch and Invision Understand and apply best practice layouts and designs Implement new features in thoughtful and purposeful ways Collaborate with graphic designers and development team to adapt and revise Creating User Experience


Documenting new builds and product features using tools such Confluence and HotJar Able to communicate product functionality and requirements in writing Reviewing consumer feedback and implementing in product requirements This position is open to fresh grads and simply requires someone who is willing to learn, is creative, and has great attention to detail. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a reletive discipline Inquisitive and thoughtful Eager to learn and unafraid of voicing an opinion Loves technology and great UX Some experience in a professional marketing or design environment would be preferred
