Junior Architect | Designer

Job Description:
The Junior Architect is primarily in charge of the visual aesthetic of the company’s store fixtures, display modules, store concepts, and office improvements. The chosen candidate will conceptualize, plan, and implement approved design studies from the drawing board to the expected output. This job will require coordination with business partners and 3rd party suppliers, so excellent organizational and communication skills is a must, apart from the technical knowledge and attention to detail involved in the deliverables expected.


Responsibilities: Conceptualizes 2D and 3D proposals for display fixtures and modules, and other requirements needed by the Company Revises designs as projects develop based on requirements Presents final plans for approval Prepares detailed plans for fabrication Sources supplies for owner supplied materials (as needed) Negotiates quotations and costing proposals Manages project scope and timeline Attends meetings and site visits (as necessary) Surveys location before / during / after ingress or egress of modules Coordinates and handles all concerns pertaining to the project (contractor / mall admin / engineering / business partners, etc.) Assesses overall quality of deployed modules and fixtures / stores Reviews and recommends improvements Monitors and handles maintenance concerns Supports other Sales & Marketing functions as the need arises Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or an equivalent degree in a design related course. Applicants with prior experience in the field without formal knowledge may also be considered depending on experience Preferably with 1 to 3 years of work experience in a similar field / industry Excellent with Sketchup, VRay, and Photoshop Excellent attention to detail Strong analytical skills Must be highly organized Must have excellent communication and coordination skills Must be able to work independently Must be able to do fieldwork Must be a team player and can work longer hours if needed
