Japanese Finance Analyst

Supports in fulfillment of Record to Report, Source to Pay, Tax, Treasury, and Statutory Accounting activities. Liaise effectively and efficiently with transactional processing partners.
Prepares monthly close process, review of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, and other transactional processing functions outsourced to business partners.
Ensures Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely basis and regular balance sheet reviews are held with local management.
Periodically reviews journals and the cost of inventory items.
Responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in accordance with business policies and practices including monthly and annual financial management reporting and KPIs.
Support preparation and delivery of local statutory and tax accounts on time and accurately.
Consistent and extensive collaboration within the finance team and across global stakeholders in the business.
Supports in documentation filling, invoice processing, and generating invoices.
Supports and contributes to the business ad-hoc activities as required.
3 years of experience in Finance Planning and Analysis (budgeting and forecasting).
Deep understanding of financial control process, deliverable, and target.
Proven capability to deliver accurately on a timely basis.
Ability to work globally and cross-functionally to fulfill tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to determine when to escalate to a manager and identify the right stakeholders for decision making with sense of urgency and priority to follow through.
Team-oriented individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions.
Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment.
Excellent written and strong oral ability to clearly communicate and present information to all levels of management.
Fluent in Japanese language.
