Provides technical and maintenance support on company’s network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, telecommunications system, and other related services.
Coordinates with external providers (ISPs, Domain Name Host and others) on technical issues and concerns.
Assists IT Operations/Support Head on Network Administration & Mill Communication System’s Mgmt. (Leased Line/LAN/WAN/CCTV/PABX-GSM LINES/ISPs)
Assists IT Operations/Support Head on IT Assets Management. Updates and monitors inventory of mill’s IT Assets including computers, printers, cameras, videos, projectors and others.
Participates on training and product launch for exposure to the latest trends and updates on the IT Field.
Assists IT Operations/Support Head in scrap disposal of IT equipment.
Prepares and submits weekly schedule of activities and accomplishments
Prepares training materials and conducts user level trainings for adaption to the latest in the field of technology
Schedules weekly preventive maintenance of IT equipment including printer repair, computer upgrading, installation, reformatting and configuration.
Coordinates with other departments regarding Systems & Servers’ planned maintenance shutdown (PMS) activities
Performance of Business Systems Department’s Performance Indicators review and recommends process improvements
Assists the IT Operations/Support Head in in implementing infrastructure projects that improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services.
Awareness and compliance to company’s health and safety program
Performs good housekeeping practices on the area
Participates in continuing department planning and organization.
Awareness and compliance to policies and procedures as required by the ISO 9001 Standards.
Performance of other related functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
Keeps abreast and well informed on the latest technology for upgrades and improvement on IT aspects.
Graduate of Computer Engineering or any IT related course
Knowledge of the latest IT trends, best practices, innovations and developments.
Proficiency on hardware troubleshooting
At least one (1) years of work experience in IT Operations or 6-months in-house training
Good communication and presentation skills;
