It Instructor

Job Summary:The IT instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in various areas of information technology to students. The instructor will create engaging lesson plans, deliver lectures, facilitate hands-on activities, and assess student progress. The goal is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field of information technology.Key Responsibilities:Develop and deliver curriculum for IT courses, workshops, or training sessions.Create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.Deliver engaging lectures, presentations, and demonstrations to students.Facilitate hands-on activities, labs, or projects to reinforce learning concepts.Provide guidance and support to students to help them succeed academically.Assess student progress through quizzes, exams, assignments, and projects.Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in information technology.Collaborate with other instructors, staff, or departments to improve curriculum and instructional methods.Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.Assist with administrative tasks related to course management, such as scheduling, enrollment, and reporting.Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors.Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or a related field.Previous teaching or training experience preferred.Proficiency in relevant programming languages, software applications, and IT concepts.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
