Job Description To ensure the timely supply of high quality products in a cost effective manner and to assure that inventory records are accurate and are traceable.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supply Management
Monitors daily sales turnover versus available inventory to assure sufficiency of stocks and if inventory is within contracted level.
Reviews Principal?s sales forecast to determine all finished goods requirements and coordinates with Principal to obtain projected arrival and delivery.? Coordinates with Warehouse ? Receiving for delivery schedules.
For Principals under Direct Purchase Agreement, creates and updates Purchase Order and submits this for approval.? For certain Principals, coordinates with the designated foreign supplier for the issuance of the pro-forma invoice.
For Principals with prior agreement on importation, supervises activities of assigned customs broker in order that all necessary documents are prepared and processed so that products are released from Customs in accordance with regulations of the Bureau of Customs, Dangerous Drugs Board, Department of Finance and other regulatory agencies.
Submits report on Service Level (percentage of invoices served versus ordered) per Principal with accompanying explanation on products which have significant un-served orders.
Inventory Control
Tracks all inventory transactions at the Warehouses and performs adjustments on the system when necessary.?
On a periodic basis, matches MDI inventory with Principal records and obtains confirmation once reconciliation is completed.
Submits accurate and timely information and analytics to assess the performance of the inventory function against prevailing goals and objectives.
Monitors expiring products and submits report to Principals to determine action to be taken in order to minimize write-offs.??
Records into the system stock transfers requested by the Principal and coordinates with proper warehouse personnel according to the delivery instructions of the Principal.
Participates in annual stock-take or scheduled stock-take of Principals.? Upon completion of completion of reconciliation of discrepancies, prepares report and recommends adjustments of overage/shortage.
People Management
Serves as the lead contact person for inventory matters for the Principal.? Prepares other inventory reports as may be requested by the Principal.
Attends coordination meetings with Principal.?
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Manager or SVP-Operations from time to time.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
BS degree holder of an engineering, science, or business course
LOCATION
Amenable to work in Manalac Avenue, Taguig City.
Office location will transfer to Sta. Rosa Laguna this year (Q4 2020)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Preferably, at least three years experience in a logistics or supply chain function.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
Must possess understanding of inventory control and monitoring processes and procedures.
Must be detail oriented and capable of managing large amounts of data.
Must be able to communicate and engage effectively with representatives of principals and other employees of the company.
Must be computer literate.
