Inventory Analyst

The Inventory Assistant will assist management in the implementation of a formal program to audit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy.Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintaining an Inventory masterlist and updating it based on a specified period- Encoding the actual count done in the stores in the masterlist- Reconciling the encoded actual/physical count with the records generated in the system if tally- Identifying the variances/discrepancies between the actual count and the count recorded in the system- Identifying the causes of the variances such as the errors in sales or sold item declaration, unposted sales, unposted transfers, wrong entry of barcodes and Selling Price, etc- Making the necessary corrections for the wrong barcodes, SRP's, and offsetting of items to clear all variances- Providing/sending back data to Accounting such as a list of confirmed items for sales & store transfers posting to clear discrepancies in their records and in the system- Working on an Inventory Recon Report Summary to be sent to the management- Controls inventory data bases, maintains accuracy in balances, directs cycle counts activities, ensures physical inventories are correct and timely- Produces reports identifying errors and omissions and investigates and provides corrective action using controlled documents for resolution.- Assists in optimizing efficiency, productivity, and workflow processes associated with the day-to-day operation- Perform other related task as maybe assigned from time to timeQualifications and Requirements:- Bachelor's degree of any four (4) year business degree courses.- With 2 to 3 years experience in the same capacity, experienced in retail industries, an advantage but not required.- Demonstrate strong attention to details.- Proficient typing ability.- Business software knowledge.- Willing to report in MakatiSchedule:- Monday to Friday
