This individual contributor role frequently interfaces with leadership, stakeholders and adheres to design measurement strategies to ensure they are delivering high-quality learning solutions. This role should serve as the project manager and team lead for the learning program, providing the Super Team with feedback, guidance, and coaching.Instructional DesignBuild the conceptual design of training assets, including the learning objectives and high-level storyboard, in alignment with business requirements.Architect the conceptual design of training programs, and provides day-to-day direction and leadership for multiple instructional design teams executing on design and development.Create innovative solutions and detailed design for training assets based on high-level module designs for more complex projects.Ensure training assets maintain design integrity and that projects are executed according to GL&D process, quality, budget, and milestone standards.Conduct post-learning assessments to confirm that high-level design learning objectives and architecture align with business requirements and prioritiesProject ManagementServe as project manager for urgent, high-impact, and/or complex end-to-end learning projects, which can include project effort, creating the resource and budget plan, creating an overall project timeline and schedule, and creating a detailed work planDefine learning objectives for overall learning program, including program-level goals and KPIsStakeholder ManagementDevelop review schedule (with SMEs and client reviewers) and incorporate feedback and/or provide guidance to the Super Team on required content revisions.Report out on project status, including estimates to complete work and flag risks and corrective actions as appropriateMaintain relationships with key program stakeholders to ensure that training programs are addressing the most pressing business priorities and satisfying learning objectives.What we're looking for…You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or six or more years of experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience.Experience in Project ManagementExperience designing custom learning programs using alternative delivery methods.Advanced skills in conducting needs analysis and recommending learning solutions that drive performance and business results.Proficiency in design tools such as: Articulate Storyline, Captivate (or equivalent e-learning tools); audio and video editing software; Adobe Creative Cloud; Vyond.Knowledge of adult learning principles and learning effectiveness (ROI).Even better if you have one or more of the following:Managed projects effectively balancing timeliness and quality in a fast-paced environmentStrong networking & relationship building skills with employees at all levels of the business.Excellent verbal & written skills, including experience providing feedback to others on learning programs, and managing feedback from stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to lead independently, and the ability to lead project milestones, SME and leadership reviews.If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every "even better" qualification listed above.Where you'll be workingIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.Scheduled Weekly Hours40Diversity and InclusionWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
