Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnhance Subcontractor quality and performance results, through instituting criteria for Subcontractor evaluation and managing prequalification process
Create opportunities for collaboration and process improvements through strategic management of relationships with partner Subcontractors
Collaborate with Procurement on the process to select and manage Subcontractors for project install for assigned region or regional cluster (RFP creation, bidding documentation, contract reviews, analysis of bids, and price and schedule negotiation)
Set criteria for Subcontractor evaluation, developing and maintaining scorecards to track Subcontractor performance and quality and adjust sourcing strategies based on performance and business unit input
Monitor contract compliance, customer satisfaction and solve operational issues with Subcontractors (e.g., quality, delivery and service issues)
Establish and maintain contractual and business relationships with critical subcontractors, including conducting pre-qualification processes and expanding pool of quality bidders
Establish key performance metrics and measure and monitor the performance of the subcontractors, including defining the data collection process, forecasting budgetary impact, tracking savings, ensuring savings are captured in budgets, and communicate performance to senior leaders
Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (national and local) as well as any internal policies or procedures to ensure that the behavior exhibited by the subcontractors are honest, ethical and professional
Work with the Legal team in drafting termination letters and contract revisions
Ensure updated subcontractor database are in place
Conduct regular meetings with subcontractor
Assist division head (TL) on the discussion of performance deviation of Subcon
Conduct awareness training to SubCon and HR Business Managers on D0-174 Compliance
Facilitate periodic compliance audit for SubCon
Ensure correctness and accuracy of the subcontractors’ billings
Oversee the termination and transition process of the subcontractors
Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time by the management

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required
Computer literate

Work Experience RequiredAt least 10 years of working experience in manufacturing environment and exposed to handling subcontractors
Working knowledge on local regulatory and statutory laws and regulations
Successful track record of purchasing, contracting, negotiating and developing strategic relationships with contractors
Have experience in managing and leading a team

Critical Skills RequiredAbility to work independently, self-motivated, have self-initiative and able to juggle priorities
Strong in analytical thinking and problem solving
Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
Strong decision making skills and strong in organizing and prioritizing work
Project management
Supplier management skills
Ability to adjust to rapid changes within the business, work in a fast paced environment, deliver under pressure and in tight timelines
Strong skills and experience partnering with leaders in the business – identifying needs and finding solutions that multiple leaders can agree on
Ability to bring to the attention of management any issues that will affect the overall operational efficiency and to seek timely approvals from management to implement measures to avoid any disruption or interruptions to the operations
