We're the biggest European FMCG in the world, and are rated #1 by Climate Counts for our sustainability initiativesWHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE?The HR IT Workday Technical/Integration SME has accountability and responsibility for end to end expertise in Workday integration processes and related technology (e.g. Payroll, Pension, Benefits, Learning, etc). This role leads the development of new integrations and the application of changes and fixes to existing integrations as well as provide assistance with incident resolution and problem management associated with all Workday integrations and operational changes that result, and to support ongoing related innovation activity.Integration is a complex area with multiple integration patterns from Workday to many different systems and services (220+). Some integrations are created directly from Workday to a service provider with or without transformation while others are processed via our on premise SAP PI middleware services or newer technologies such as Mulesoft (cloud integration as a service).Depending on the integration pattern, different Unilever and third party organizations will be involved in development, incident support and innovation.Given that Workday is a SaaS cloud service with quarterly releases and that there are plans to make additional use of Workday capability, there will be an ongoing stream of changes. The HR IT Workday Technical/Integration SME will need to assess and understand these changes relative to the overall integration environment and ensure changes enter production with appropriate testing, knowledge transfer and change management to the integration landscape.WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
Supporting the development of a relevant portfolio of core HR related demand from across the business and from on-going external scan.
Requirements gathering, solution design, testing and implementation in support of project-based innovation.
Piloting capabilities prior to scale deployment whether as part of a vendor release or Unilever driven innovation.
Providing technical SME support to HR IT support team as required.
Maintaining environmental scans to ensure fit for purpose solutions aligned to strategic roadmaps.
Completing and maintaining a full range of documentation sufficient for solution and service transition.
Support development of business case as required.
Strategy Development
Developing technology roadmaps in partnership with CTO.
Ensuring a constant focus on meeting the needs of customers, informing them of progress and status, and positively managing user perceptions.
Ensuring that technology roadmaps and demand portfolios can be clearly articulated in business terms and user experience.
Communicating effectively to senior and peer stakeholders.
Engage with other underpinning support teams ensuring appropriate handoff of issues/queries and clarification of ownership - Application Vendor, Middleware teams, UL support teams and 3P vendors.
Engaging proactively with global and regional IT colleagues in order to identify solutions to business needs and priorities.
Supplier Relationship Management
Working extensively with partners and vendors to create fit for purpose solutions.
The expert should be able to communicate with the Business as well as with the rest of the HR System Support Team.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
