General Accountant

The role encompasses managing government remittances, payroll, and accounts, including vendor payments and inquiries. It involves preparing financial statements, journal entries, and budgets, and assisting with year-end reporting. The incumbent identifies errors, suggests improvements, and oversees accounting records, while also coaching subordinate staff.Qualifications:-Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.-Certified Public Accountant (CPA).-Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a BPO or shared-service environment.-Knowledge and experience in financial accounting, cost accounting, and corporate finance.-Strong reporting skills, attention to detail, and deadline-oriented.-Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close processes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparation of consolidated reports.-Work setup: Hybrid.
