1. Prepares quotations on accounts that are considered desirable and acceptable based on the existing guidelines of the company.
2. Declines undesirable risks or provide alternative terms in order to accommodate account.
3. Conducts risk inspection for evaluation and loss control purposes.
4. Reviews policies, endorsements and other related documents.
5. Prepares and analyzes profitability portfolio of accounts.
6. Prepares facultative placement slips for accounts that needs reinsurance support.
7. Advise Marketing/Branches on the status of reinsurance placement.
8. Proposes, negotiates with the Marketing Team, Intermediary or client on conditions and terms of cover under which an account can be accepted.
9. Signs policies, endorsements and other related documents.
10. Monitors and distributes policies every month end.
11. Reviews and evaluates of renewal/expiring policies.
12. Overrides policies with claims or outstanding balance.
13. Modifications of commission rates.
14. Maintains information on the system, e.g. warranties and clauses, treaty set-ups, etc.
15. Develops and/or improves insurance packages.
16. Performs all other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned to by immediate superior from time to time.
17. Checks accumulation for location to be accepted.
18. Prepare and checks Risk Assessment Reports (flood, typhoon, fault line, nearest volcanoes)
19. Posts and reviews of Fire policies with TSI above 20 million
20. Assist in Fire Surplus and XOL Treaty renewal and set-up treaties in the system
21. Submits Annual Catastrophe / Property Insurance Report in compliance to insurance Commission
22. Manages and provides data needed for the negotiation with yearly audit by Insurance Commission
23. Coordinate with PMMSC for Engineering quotations and issuance of policy
