Job Description : Purpose of the Role: Overhead management – Staff cost
Performs annual staff cost planning and ensure highly confidential and critical sensitive data are well managed
Ensure payroll and accrual entries are properly posted for correct reporting
Assist OH analyst in providing accurate forecast and analyze any variances vs budget if needed.
COGS analyst
Perform inventory related tasks such as annual stock revaluation calculation, monthly SRT calculation, and monthly stock and PIS provision including resolving unreconciled variances against SAP and warehouse report.
Prepare journal entries related to COGS and others.
Prepare COGS report for management review and provide quality commentary on the variances and movement when necessary.
Perform cost-variance analysis; provide explanations on unexpected/expected fluctuations in all costs/expenses for the month and thorougn understanding of movement n account; ensure strict follow-up on open items from previous month’s cost.
Provide BPM, other team with relevant COGS data for their performance monitoring
Utilize global COGS macro tool for proper material and customer allocation in compliance with BPM group policies
OIE Analyst
Provides Full Year Estimate of cost for BPM outlook submission and act ast as decision support thru value add analysis and thru thorough understanding of Taiwan cost structure.
Drives performance of the business through timely and insightful BPM reporting, providing OIE commentaries, and be able to generate solution, leverage the support to deliver the plan.
Analyzes/comments on any significant deviations (swings/variances) compared to target;
Reviews forecast accuracy in terms of month-end landing numbers and latest estimates
Treasury Analyst
To have an effective cash forecast and action plan for end to end Treasury related matter (all cash in and out). Managing full scope of intercompany and external borrowings to minimize financial impact and be on top of daily cash monitoring.
Manages cash related queries and provide recommendation to market if Taiwan would need additional funding/loan to maintain daily operation.
Performs accurate inflow and outflow management and categorization of cash and provide insights on cash movements and performance.
Others
Continuously monitors and improves the control environment; proposes actions in order to eliminate or prevent risks and to deliver opportunities to Taiwan, continuous assessment of management impact
Initiate corrective and preventive action in areas affecting performance through identifying service delivery process improvements and reviews.
Drives process optimization and standardization through projects, kaizens and best practice sharing.
Manage adhoc projects or assignments
Ensures Balance Sheet GL reconciliations are completed on time and in accordance with the GL reconciliation policy.
Ensures open items on cash clearing accounts are minimized. Provides cash clearing information to RTR Bangalore team and Manila team.
Provide business partnering for all key stakeholders (market finance contacts) & network with various functions within GDBS/market (STC, STP, Bank Ops, Treasury, CARM) and outside DBSC (KPMG/PWC/Deloitte)
Qualifications:
University / College degree in finance / accounting / business/CPAWork experience
At least 4-5 years working experience in a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas:
Proven track record in the area of Financial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred
Internal / external audit experience and/or SOX is an advantage
Experience with Shared services process activities is an advantage
Capable of working in a deadline driven environment.
Experience of working in a multi-national financial environment
Hard working personality, flexibility
Ability to work within culturally diverse, complex, competitive, fast changing or ambiguous environments.
Strong stakeholder management to work in ‘virtual teams’ with colleagues in different functions and locations across various levels.
Language skills
