ResponsibilitiesAccurately complete the month end closing activities which includes closing of the Oracle modules and preparation of the manual journals, liaising with other departments to finalize the accounts and accruals and assist to complete Month End corporate reporting.
Ensure bank reconciliations, Prepayments and Deferred Revenue accounts are fully reconciled.
Ensure Fixed Assets Register is up to date and run the monthly depreciation
Carry out FX revaluation on foreign currencies bank accounts
Review general ledger and cost centre expense allocations, balance sheet accounts and cash flow. Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Extract and prepare the information required for month end submission to Asia HQ, Purchase Price Variance (PPV) report to Supply Chain and other ad hoc request
Ensure stakeholders are updated on the results and account movements.
Prepare Financial analysis on SGA spend and reporting
Assist external auditors, in preparing various audit schedules and analysis.
Ensure all requirements are adhered to and deadlines communicated to management
Ensure local compliances such as Statistics, etc reports are submitted within the issued deadlines
Actively contribute to the development and improvement of financial reporting processes and systems to avoid duplication and waste
Assist in responding to various regular and one-off corporate requests in a timely manner.
Take necessary steps to ensure OH&S requirements are adhered to

Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience with ERP system such as Oracle.
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge and experience with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
