The APAC/EMEA Payroll Manager is a key team member who will be responsible for leading payroll department in the region with the vendor and align payroll processes across the region.
What will your job look like? 13;
-The Payroll Manager will work with a variety of business and departments throughout the organization to ensure appropriate engagement, compliance, and success of Payroll projects.
-Works with various teams in Finance organization in ensuring payroll journals are posted and reconciliations are performed in a timely manner for close purposes.
-Spearheads and leads projects in implementing new payroll platforms and processes with the objective of improving overall payroll efficiencies.
-Responsible to define and develop Service Level Agreements, identify and drive key payroll metrics to provide best in class service to internal and external customers. This position reports directly to APAC Controller based in Manila.
-Leads and manages APAC/EMEA payroll functions liaising closely with HR operations and outsources payroll provides to ensure payrolls are processed accurately and timely for more than 4000 employees in the regions.
-Improves system interfaces to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments)
-Coordinates timekeeping and payroll systems
-Oversees processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
-Ensures compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
-Liaises with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
-Collaborates with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams
-Reviews, build, and maintain complete catalog of process maps
-Resolves issues and answer payroll-related questions
-Ensures companies' activities comply with legal, professional, and ethical standard
-Assess impact of new policies programs to payroll and time landscape (process, system, people) to ensure appropriate level of process standard
-Mentor, coach, and provide expertise and guidance to existing payroll teams.
All you need is... 13;
-5 years of proven experience as a Regional payroll manager or similar role. Minimum 10 years of experience managing high volume and complex payroll processes for more than 2000 employees
-Knowledge in APAC/EMEA local employment, benefits, and individual income tax related legislations
-Experience in managing outsources payroll provides in APAC/EMEA and driving SLA's
-Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
-Analytical, detail-oriented, and high quality oriented, manage multiple tasks successfully
-Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to confidently present complex information to all levels of the organization and tailoring the content appropriately to the audience.
-Minimum of 7 years of experience is a people leadership role. Currently working as a Manager, overseeing a team that comprises of 10 members
-Leader with initiative and drive who collaborates well in a virtual, team-oriented regional environment and builds strong effective working relationships
-Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for understanding how the details fit or matter within existing processes
-Self-starter who can make sound business decisions with little supervision
-Commitment-minded and goal-oriented individual with a "will to win" mindset
-Familiarity with payroll software/HRIS (e.g. SAP, ADP) and MS Office (especially Excel)
-Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
-Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
-Analytical mind ad good math skills
-BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPP, CPM, CPA) is a plus
-Should must to come from a multinational/ big company. Ensure companies' activities comply with legal, professional, and ethical standard
