Responsibilities:
Formalizes processes and functions of the Finance, Accounting and Collections Team
Provides coaching and mentoring to the department’s team members
Monitors and manages internal department performance via strict compliance and completion of Finance processes, key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
Monitors the Finance Department’s compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s requirements, guidelines, and deadlines
Coordinates with the institution’s partner law firm, account and auditor regarding finalization and furnishing of the institution’s financial report and statements
Creates and details the organizational financial reports in relation to the following entities: CIIT College of Arts and Technology, CIIT Senior High School, CIIT Trading and Dagondon-O Ventures (DOV)
Analyzes the use of corporate funds and recommends proper allocation of funding and resources
Develops long-term business plans and identifies strategies that help minimize financial risk
Ensures zero backlog on all revenue and expense transactions at the end of every month

BIR Compliance
Bad Debt Percentage
Off-site Transaction Monitoring
Internal Finance SLA Compliance
Graduate of BS Accountancy or other related courses
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least 5 - 8 years of immersive experience in the different facets of Accounting and Finance such as but not limited to payables, receivables, disbursements, collections and financial analysis
Extensive understanding of financial trends in the industry and in the general market
Background in team management, coaching and mentoring
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal)
Proven competency and proficiency with the use of Accounting Software is an advantage for this role
Ability to work around new technological advancements is an advantage
