Job Description
The Philippines Finance Manager, to be located in the office in Manila, will take on the following responsibilities:
Lead the finance team in handling day-to-day finance aspects;
Provide effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered;
Ensure compliance with appropriate financial standards and best practices;
Coordinate and input into the annual planning cycle;
Liaise with key stakeholders and provision of analysis and advice;
Assist in completion of budget adhering to the budget setting process as defined by the Headquarters and completing to timetable;
Ensure that corporate initiatives and requirements are communicated to the Business and provide appropriate support in complying with these;
Improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance;
Provide analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies;
Adhere to timely monthly closing, AP and AR;
Liaise with auditors, coordinating with tax agents;
Process-orientated in developing, aligning and being the business driver;
Possess strong experience in Price Management and Cost Efficiency;
Compliance-driven across the business and one who has an eye for detail;
Manage tax and financial reporting function;
Run payroll on a monthly basis;
Prepare and/or review balance sheet account reconciliations;
Maintain high degree of security over company and employee information.
The Successful Applicant
To succeed as a Finance Manager in the international retail distribution industry, the Philippines Finance Manager should have:
At least University degree in finance related field or equivalent with professional certification (e.g. CPA);At least 10 years of experience in operations with comprehensive understanding of process and procedures, service management concepts, as well as compliance and control;At least 5 years in a management and/or supervisory role;Experience in SAP Business One is preferred;Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry is preferred.
