Etl Consultant

Responsibilities and Duties of ETL Consultant
Performing data warehouse ETL development tasks for large projects (ETL development, stored procedures development, SQL optimization, Unix shell scripts, job schedule design )
Create deployment documentation, release notes, support documentation.
Support system testing defect analysis and correction
Support and monitor production ETL jobs

Mandatory
Experience implementing Data Warehouse ETL processes using ETL tools (ODI, Datastage, SAS-DI etc)
Experience writing SQL code (Teradata preferred)
Good analysis and debugging skills
Able to work unsupervised and show initiative to get things done independently
Very Good written and spoken English.
Ability to interface with client technology and business teams.
Unix shell scripting experience

Optional
Experience building reports using BI tools such as OBIEE, Microstrategy, Business Objects (OBIEE preferred)
Experience building schedules in Control M
Knowledge of Teradata tools and utilities ( BTEQ, TPT, Multiload etc)
Experience with Teradata Control Framework
