ENGINEERING & SERVICE SENIOR MANAGERJOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall operations of the Engineering Department.Qualifications:Engineering Graduate, preferably a licensed Mechanical EngineerWith at least 10 years managerial experience in the Engineering fieldKnowledgeable in kitchen, laundry equipment, & air-conditioningWith good customer service, negotiation, and presentation skillsHigh proficiency in MS Office especially in MS Excel.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOrganizes, plans and coordinates all after sales activities of the department.Maintains close liaison with customers and suppliers.Prepares summary of parts sales forecasts for the division.Negotiates service contracts.Updates management on the progress of escalated service activities and acquiresmanagement approval on recommended action.Assists in the formulation of short and long range planning and in the preparation of forecastsand other required reports.Prepares and/or reviews costing and selling prices to maximize contribution and win biddings.Manages the credit and collection activities of the department. Ensures that Ars are paidon time.Recruits and assigns enough qualified personnel to adequately cover customer servicerequests.Works hand in hand with customer's installation and maintenance engineers until every majorequipment purchased is installed and commissioned.Provides the necessary personality in closing or finalizing sales negotiations and contracts.
