Ehs Officer

Job Description:

Plan, implement and enforce strict compliance with health, safety and environmental policies at all times

Conduct safety audits of workplace and jobsites to ensure EHS policies are followed

Perform routine inspection of Personal Protectve Equipment (PPE), machines and harnesses

Design a program and conduct trainings on safety policies, best practices and company protocol

Oversee and review existing policies, documentations and measures and update according to latest industry standard

Record and investigate accidents and prepare detailed reports including identifying root cause and developing corrective measures

Consult with all departments including the leadership to provide expertise and ensure compliance with standards and processes

Conduct risk assessment and possible safety hazards on all aspects of operations and enforce preventive measures

Participate in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols and techniques

Present regular reports and data/occurrence analysis to the management and propose improvements

Qualifications:

1-2 years of related working experience required

Experience working in a telecom environment is a plus

College/Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Engineering or relevant field

Certification in occupational health and safety

Proficient with Microsoft Office

In-depth knowledge of EHS policies and standards in the Telecom industry

With training/certification in First-aid/CPR and has the ability to act during emergencies

Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety

Outstanding organizational skills

Diligent with great attention to detail

Familiar with the potential hazardous activities and practices including working-at-height, electrical works, excavation of pit, etc.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics

Ability to travel/with valid driver's license
