Full-time, Permanent WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT? The incumbent's overall objective is to effectively develop and implement EHS activities, and to administrate EHS department documentation, communication, monitoring, and tracking systems. The incumbent is responsible for achieving the operational goals quantified in the approved business plan or better.  WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Bachelor's Degree in any four-year Engineering course2+ years in EHS ProfessionalKnowledgeable on related EHS regulationsExternal audition of EHS MS ISO14001 and ISO45001 and preferred DOLE Accredited Safety Officer 3 or 4 is a plusHolds certification as a Pollution Control Officer for DENR and/or LLDADemonstrates above-average communication and presentation skills.Proficient in conducting inspections, data gathering, and interpretationAccountable and committed to continuous improvement. WHAT WILL YOU DO? EHS Orientations and Training planning and provision. Preparation and cascading EHS communication materials - video, presentations, reports, announcements - through BTV, EHS corners, and emailsEnsure corrective and preventive actions register (CAPA) is updated and followed up regularly - incident, audit findings, observations, and improvement plans. Preparation of incidents and BOS statistics, including incident learning reapplication and other EHS databaseControl budget execution (PO/PR and GR updates). Budget reporting, monitoring, planning, calculation, and update. Close collaboration with EHS department stakeholders: employees, vendors, and suppliers, including but not limited to PPE issuance, contractor's tools, ladders, and ERT equipment stickers preparation and validation of inspectionPerform any other tasks commissioned by the line manager. Compliance with EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations, and work performance instructionsUnderstand the environment, health, and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures to keep their workplace healthy and safe.Develop competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in EHS training and receive appropriate EHS knowledge and required qualifications, and observe and follow safety signs, posters, warning signals, and written directions and instructions.Know Legal and JTI EHS requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable EHS rules and procedures.Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor, and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so. WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS? Thank you very much for applying!
