Database Administrator

**Database Administrator Job Responsibilities**:- Design and implement database in accordance to end users information- Define, manage and optimize database access (user/security maintenance)- Implement backup configuration standards- Establish a disaster recovery protocol- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity- Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution**Database Administrator Qualifications/Skills**:- Strong command of administration and support of MSSQL, Oracle and any of open source databases (MognoDB, PostgreSQL or MySQL) is an added advantage- Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards- PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills is an advantage- Having experience with service management tools (Cherwell or Remedy etc.)- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Impeccable attention to detail- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills- Highly organized and responsible- Capable of working under pressure- Up to date with trends and developments in database administration**Education and Experience Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field- 3 + years of experience in database administration and IT Support- Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments- Extensive experience with database technologies MS SQL, Oracle and Open source databases (MongoDB or Postgresql or Mysql) along with certification is a plus- Experience with cloud services and DevOps tools is a plusEmployment details:Full timeHybrid (Parañaque)With meal, transpo, communication allowancesHMO**Benefits**:- Flexible schedule- Health insurance- Opportunities for promotion- Pay raise- Transportation service providedSchedule:- 8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:- 13th month salary- Performance bonus- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Parañaque City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
