Country Manager

Course Hero is scaling! We are hiring an experienced Country Manager to lead our rapidly growing Content Operations team in the Philippines. This is a high visibility and impact role: you will own the strategy and execution for building and engaging a large team of content development professionals and play a critical role in the success of the company’s key growth initiatives. You will create and execute on a roadmap to scale educational content development in high reach subject areas and develop the necessary infrastructure, team, and processes to deliver against ambitious quality and volume goals for solution authoring. In essence, you are building a Philippines based supply chain to create high quality content that will support student learning around the world. To do this, you must be analytical, think big, move fast and have a history of scaling operations teams. Here are some ways you'll make an impact!Build, manage and lead a team of 100+ Subject Matter Experts and the necessary management and support staff to author millions of solutions to questions that help students get unstuck and facilitate learningPartner closely with our US based operations, product and analytics teams to develop tools, systems and reporting to facilitate and streamline content creation and managementAct as the local leader and brand ambassador to develop and maintain office expectations and cultureInvolvement with building and owning a multi-year budget, with responsibility for tracking and reporting on KPIsAre you our next Country Manager?10+ years general management and/or content operations experienceStrong leader having hired, managed and scaled large high-performance teamsAnalytical mindset and data-driven approach to operationsProven track record of driving quality and efficiency optimizationsMassive hustler, combining an entrepreneurial spirit with a get-it-done attitudeFluent in the content development lifecycleAptitude for working across functions and geographies. Willingness to adjust work schedule to accommodate foreign timezonesUndergraduate degree required, MBA preferredFamiliarity or experience with education technology businesses is a bonusProficiency in all GSuite applications (particularly Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Gmail)
