Also, you will work and coordinate with the onshore local finance leads.**The overall purpose of the role is**:- Assist in the management of workflow through efficient utilization of associates and provide guidance, direction, and evaluation of work of the team-members.- Communicate with external contacts and internal personnel to resolve open issues and be able to think innovatively.- Provide data and interpretation of financial results, including statistical analysis, written communication, and verbal presentations.- Handle requests for ad-hoc reports or financial information and interact with internal & external EY personnel to verify information.- Investigate capabilities of software upgrades to improve reporting. Develop and implement new procedures to ensure efficient & effective operation of GL related processes.- Provide timely feedback and regular training to the people in the team.- Provide active support and participation in Task forces, initiatives and projects.- Effectively delegate tasks, assist and provide inputs to Managers in key management projects.- Confer with clients to discuss and resolve matters such as complaints and implementation problems.- Have a good command of reporting system on ERP system.- Assist managers in day-to-day functioning of the department and managing expectation, variance and explanation analysis to management.- Manage the aspects of quality compliance and accuracy attributes.Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience- Minimum 4 - 6 years' experience in a similar General accounting ( Management and statutory reporting including support of internal & external audits and other controlling activities) or finance role within a large organisation- Experience in a professional services environment preferred but not required.- Proven analytical skills and attention to details- Ability to build strong relationships across the business at all levels.- Ability to work at pace with changing priorities**. PC skills**: Have advanced knowledge in Excel, Word and PowerPoint Access Skills, SAP and Power Post.**. Technology Skill**: Have a good knowledge in the entire accounting process cycles which includes AP, AR, GL, Project cost related knowledge and T&E.- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.**.
