Job Description:
The Contracts Reviewer is tasked to review all contracts of the company pertaining mainly on the delivery of goods & services before they are signed. The position ensures that the agreements are in the company’s best interest by analyzing the all clauses, stipulations, obligations and liabilities. He/she should be extremely thorough and detail oriented as the job largely consists of reading through contractual documents line by line. The role should mainly deal with contract interpretation and awareness and provide guidance to contracting parties.

Job Responsibilities:

Contract Drafting:

Negotiates, establishes and administers contractual arrangements and procurement proposals on goods or services. Prepares or drafts tender documents. Formulates and coordinates procurement proposals and ensuring that scope of work and terms & conditions are according to the requirements of the end-user/requestor. Adds clarification to the meaning of the language found in the contract scope of work when confusion develops over the scope of work definitions within the contract.

Evaluates revision requests and revise contracts if found appropriate.

Ensures that the provisions of the contract are well

understood and agreed upon by the end-user/reqiestor and contractor or service provider.

Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices.

Contracts Management:

Develops & reviews policies and procedures pertaining to contracting bidding process and tendering strategy. Proposes amendments when required.

Serves as the point of contact of contractors/service providers on contractual matters and ensures timely review and approval.

Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, contractor/service provider contact information sheets, contractual changes, status report and other pertinent


Ensures that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.

Handles on going issue and change management.

Ensures contract close-out, extension or renewal.

Monitors transaction compliance such as milestones, deliverables, etc.

Reporting Responsibilities:

Work closely with Risk Management Team and Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements. Establishes KPIs on contract drafting, finalization, approval confirmation from contractors/service providers. Mediates between end-user and contractor in case of any dispute. Identifies materials and services of repetitive nature and establishes long term call-off agreement. Endorses same to Procurement Manager. Minimum Qualifications:
At least 1 to 2 years experience in the field of drafting and execution of contracts. Bachellors degree in Engineering or Law Strong interpersonal skills
