You are a capable leader, whether it be on conceptualizing and leading projects teams, and training others on moderate to highly complex policies, practices, and processes.The Contracts Paralegal Associate reports to the Director, Corporate Procurement Services.**Expected Work Hours and Timezone**You are expected to work 40 hours per week Mondays to Fridays with fixed weekends off. You will be strictly following US business hours. This is a hybrid position. You are required to be at the Makati office once or twice a week.**As a Contracts Paralegal Associate, you will provide excellence by**:- Responsible for the initial legal review, and ultimate negotiation, of proposed agreements for the purchase of goods and/or services in collaboration with the Business Unit, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Legal and Control Group (s) as necessary.- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships across CPS and with business unit stakeholders- Partner with the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to select the appropriate Contract Template or Standard Clause(s) for proposed agreements- Conduct redline review of proposed agreements of low to moderate complexity, including the drafting of non-standard commercial and legal terms- Participate in negotiations with Suppliers regarding proposed agreements- Liaise with TPR, Control group(s), and Subject Matter Experts, as necessary- Ensure clear and prompt communication with Business Unit, Strategic Sourcing, Legal and Control Group(s), as necessary- Keep abreast of current laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance as needed to integrate appropriate terms into proposed agreements and provide upkeep to Contract Templates and Standard Clauses- Acts as consultant on post-contract issues as necessary- Research and analyze existing third party agreements to determine content and assess proper integration of prior documents into new documents.- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately- Perform other duties as assigned**Requirements**:**Do you have what it takes to be our Contracts Paralegal Associate?**Consider yourself highly qualified if you have:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience- Certification in paralegal studies or extensive experience as a paralegal- Proven track record of success working with sourcing principles and methodologies, preferably gained from a global financial services firm- Expert in contract drafting and negotiation- Strong stakeholder management skills- Excellent communication skills, including writing contract terms- Ability to work independently and to influence with limited or no authority- Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn firm-issued tools; Familiar with MS Office- Extremely organized and detail oriented**Benefits**As a virtual outsourcing company that invests and deeply cares about their freelancers and individual contractors, we aim to provide the best possible remote working experience for everyone, starting with the benefits.- Enjoy HMO after your first month, no need to wait for 3 months or 6 months!- Internet issues at home?
