Job Description: Concept ArtistA Concept Artist creates a visual representation of an idea for use in movies, video games, animation or comic books before it is added to the final product.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Liaising with the art director, game developer, etc regarding the brief for the projectResearching concept subjects, styles & genresCreating detailed key designs from a written briefPresenting a series of drafts of the concepts for approvalDeveloping characters, environments, props, and designs based on feedback.Manage project timelines and schedules and report any issues to the supervisor.Creating detailed concept designs in a variety of mediums specific to the brief such as 2D drawings or 3D renders.Assisting in the creation of marketing materials and assetsContinuing to develop concepts & designs for the duration of the production process.Keeping up to date with the latest design trends and advancements in technology.
