Job Description
• System Software
o Systematics Core applications – IMPACS, ST, RM, GL (Banking System)

• Software Development
o Gathers requirements with business, application and infrastructure team
o Knowledgeable in banking and retail system operations
o Proposes technical designs and development approach on assigned applications
o Creates, modifies and debugs jobs and programs based on technical specifications
o Uses Programming language and Tools - Cobol II, JCL, DB2 – SQL, VSAM, ISPF, DFSORT, SYNCSORT

• Program and System Testing
o Writes test scripts and test scenarios based on the system specifications
o Creates test data that will satisfy every scenario during unit testing
o Testing validations during User acceptance testing Application Support

• Application Support
o Runs job and data validation of assigned applications as a post-deployment task
o Handles tickets resolution for business problems during support periods
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong in job & program designing, data manipulation through sorting tools and system testing
• Competent and efficient problem-solver who maintains high work standards and always develops a strong working relationship with colleagues
• Working experience throughout the build phases of software development from requirement analysis, build/code, test and deployment of batch and online programs using Mainframe Cobol
• Working experience as production support investigating and resolving issues
• Development/maintenance/testing of new and existing in house and systematics programs
