Cadet Mining Engineer

Summary:
Responsible to perform the mine planning by updating quarry plans, developing operational methodologies and quality operational pocedures. Also focuses on the safety management of all projects.
Review and carries out strategies in various phases of works / field project operations for the attainment of company’s major safety objectives; “Zero LTI, No Major Fire Incident, No Major Property Damage and Zero Recordable Case”
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mine Planning
Update quarry plans for each project every3 months
6 months
12 months
3 years

Determine Operational Methodologies that can improve operations in terms of efficiency and productivity in the following:Equipment operations / maintenance
Drilling and Blasting
Work Scheduling

Develop quality procedures to sustain efficient productivity

2. Project Safety Management
Familiar and practise safety cultures implemented by the principals in each project
Make recommendations to enhance good safety practices.

3. Performs other tasks as may be assigned to you by your immediate superior from time to time.
