JOB SUMMARY
IT Asset Management Analyst will analyze and manage policies/procedures to assure inventory/auditing with compliance and to apply controls that ensure accurate inventory costing, timely transactions, allocate and decommission of assets, physical/system reconciliations and various reporting. Candidate will conduct, participate and work closely with Asset Management team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, I.T., Computer Science, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
With at least two (2) years’ work experience in related documentation work or similar role.
Excellent written and spoken English
Working knowledge of fundamental operations, hardware and other equipment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and formulas)
Having the following certifications is a plus but not necessary
CSAM – Certified Software Asset Management
CHAMP – Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional
CITAM – Certified IT Asset Management
ITIL – IT Infrastructure Library
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all D&T assets and record all findings, changes and physical location
Ensure that hardware and software assets are tracked appropriately and analyze and reconcile the resulting data
Ensure compliance with all D&T asset management policies
Respond to requests from end users, managers, developers and team members for specific D&T Asset Management data information (Software and Hardware)
Document, communicate and maintain standard operating procedures and processes
Assess the age and condition of D&T assets on a semi-annual basis and provide report to support the hardware refresh cycle
Assist with software true-ups and audit requests from internal and external sources as appropriate
Recognize potential risks (monetary and/or security related) and recommend solutions to management
Conduct quarterly disposal asset reports and ensure that all records are correctly updated
Perform other duties as assigned
