Big Data Manager

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Psychology, and Computer Science
Masters or Doctorate Degree is a plus
With at least 3 years of experience in the field
Advanced knowledge in MS Office productivity tools such as Excel including Macros, Word, PowerPoint
Knowledge and experience in Visio and in utilizing analytics tools such as Rapid Miner, R, Google Analytics, etc.
Good data warehouse/database knowledge (SQL and/or MS Access)
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and HTML programming
Creating intuitive data visualizations utilizing relevant software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
Knowledge in predictive modeling and machine learning skills
Data Manipulation and Analysis using Big data technologies
SQL querying (comfort with temporary tables and multi-step queries)
Querying, modeling, slide preparation, and delivery
Exceptional research capabilities at par with latest technologies used for analytics
Lead a multi-skilled team to study and implement necessary systems and data analytics and ensure that tactics drive increased value to the organization.
Implement initiatives aimed in building and driving Big Data Awareness in the organization.
Spearhead activities that will guide leaders in understanding data analytics and use them in forming insights that will help them in decision making and problem solving.
Perform regular review of goals and deliverables to ensure alignment with business strategy and BI roadmap.
Track and deliver regular status updates to the Senior Leadership Team for multiple, concurrent BIG activities.
Identify, develop, and enhance processes on data analytics and system enhancements.
Perform data analysis procedures aimed at ensuring data & reporting integrity.
Make recommendations, resolve data discrepancies, process inefficiencies and work with other teams such as but not limited to IS-ITSS to implement new processes and tools aligned with the BIG roadmap and organization goals.
Work closely with end users of reports and data and provide support to various functional areas of the business.
Lead the team in the presentation of analysis and recommendations to stakeholders based on identified metrics or factors given by stakeholders
