Summary: Under the supervision of the Assistant General Manager; Evaluate operating guidelines, controls or procedures and ensures that internal procedures agree with policies and standards, as well as protecting the corporate assets and resources of the company at all levels.
Details of Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review and carry out independent appraisal of effectiveness of company standards , procedures and operations
2. Prepare findings and necessary recommendations to ensure the policies and procedures are carried out effectively
3. Conduct inventory management systems
4. Make sure the correct matching of physical inventory with system database content
5. Identify any data error, unaccountable transactions or inefficient processes
6. Performs audit procedures and submit audit reports on the following financial-related transactions:
a. Billed / Unbilled shipments
b. Official receipts
c. Accounts receivables
d. Accounts payables
e. Petty cash fund / allowances
f. Consignment inventories
g. Warehouse inventories
h. General expenses including agent’s expenses
i. Sales invoice and delivery receipts
7. Develop new and/or review and revise current audit standard procedures and practices
8. Detect non-conformities on company standards and prepare reports to the management
9. Prepares and presents written and oral reports and other information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner for distribution to management
10. Prepares audit finding memoranda and working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the completed audit and conclusions
11. Follows up on audit findings to ensure that management has taken corrective action(s).
12. Assists and trains other audit staff in developing methods for review and analysis of operational systems.
13. Checks and approves submitted reports from Audit staffs
14. Conduct operational, compliance and investigative audits, as assigned.
15. Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time.
